DIY Starbucks Pink Drink – 5 Ingredients

Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite drinks from Starbucks: The Pink Drink

After ordering this drink so many times and getting cups of ice, I was pretty over it and just knew there was a way I could make this at home… And for much cheaper (I was right)! So, naturally I browsed Pinterest, did some research and came up with my own version of what I found, which was:

1. Açaí berry tea of choice

2. Sweetened coconut milk (unsweetened works too)

3. Sweetener of choice (sugar, stevia, honey)

4. fresh fruit (strawberries)

5. ice

Directions:

• Steep tea for 5-7 mins. Remember, we want the berry tea very dark! Not only for taste, but also for a prettier pink/color at the end!

• Remove tea bag(s) and pour over coconut milk. I like to fill my cup about 3/4 so there’s room for ice! I also tend to let my tea “chill” for a little before adding coconut milk and ice so the ice does’t melt instantly.

• Add in ice cubes, fruit of choice, and sweetener!

• Stir and enjoy! Don’t forget to take a pic and share.

This drink is very smooth and refreshing- I love drinking in the morning for an extra kick start to my day! If you want to know specific items I use, let me know – I would love to share! I spent under $10 total and will be able to make this drink many more times this week so, is it worth it? Absolutely! You can also control what goes into your body with less sugar, etc.
