Home for the Holidays

Hi friends!

I’m home for the holidays and wanted to check-in! I also have a little life update and I’m so excited to share.

Life Update

On December 14th, 2019 I graduated from Western Michigan University and I am beyond thrilled to be done! Since then I’ve taken a week off from work and have been staying back at my boyfriend’s parent’s house for Christmas. Side note: I’m currently applying for jobs that I qualify for with my degree and will keep you all posted (fingers crossed)!!

I mentioned that I’m staying at the bf’s parent’s house and I love coming back to visit here, I always feel right at home. I also just love the holidays around here because his mom, C always decorates the house super cute and makes the best thumbprint cookies! I’ve been stuffing my belly with lots of them… She decorated so well and I had to share because of how beautiful all of her hard work turned out!

Fun fact: She’s originally from England and I just love this ornament! She’s also lived in many other parts of the world.
The mantel looks so cozy with the pre-lit garland (and cranberries)!

Today was 51 degrees in Michigan which is just nuts because it’s mid December! I’m not complaining though because at this point, I could enjoy the holidays easily without the snow. I took full advantage of the beautiful day and went on two outdoor walks!

I’ve also been doing lots of relaxing in the hot tub and taking full advantage of my view. Love this mug! Check it out:

Besides that, I’ve been doing lots of relaxing and wrapping gifts and pup walks! My 23rd birthday is also around the corner (Jan 3rd) so who knows what I’ll do for that. Thanks for catching up on life with me! Happy Holidays.
