Herbal Essences sent me a box of their new Aloe Vera Hair Collection and I will be sharing my honest thoughts and benefits with you all #gifted! I should also mention that these products are sulfate, paraben, and cruelty free which is always a plus. If you want more information on the ingredients or if you just want to check their site out, you can find that all here: Herbal Essences: Aloe Vera Collection.
P.S.: I will also be sharing some posing tips (for those looking for some inspo) in the photo captions below! 🙂
Pose idea numero uno! Using a camera that has some sort of depth effect will almost always give you great photos. Holding the items with depth effect is such an easy way to crank out quality content. It also doesn’t involve any face or cute background. I like this pose to showcase whatever it is I’m shooting, usually something smaller like food, drinks, or beauty products. These could be easily swapped with other items you may need to shoot.
Products I Tried:
Eucalyptus + Potent Aloe Vera Sulfate Free Conditioner for Hair & Scalp Balance
Eucalyptus + Potent Aloe Vera Sulfate Free Shampoo for Hair & Scalp Balance
Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera Sulfate-Free Hair Mask
The Aloe Collection is Great For:
Hair Repair
Hydrating hair oil mist, smooths, detangles and helps fight frizz. After washing and conditioning felt and smelled amazing! My natural hair is very thick and curly for reference, but I also have friends with thinner hair than who have used these products too.
Sustainable Sourced Aloe
Their formula is infused with hand-picked sustainably sourced aloe. I had no idea they even cared where their aloe is sourced from, so this is great news!
Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment
Their hair mask with Coconut Milk & Aloe deeply moisturizes & nourishes dry, damaged hair. I love a good hair mask!
This is also a fun way to pose when holding some sort of prop for content shooting. These could easily be replaced with food, drinks, etc. and make for a great shoot! Simply holding the product(s) and gazing off to the side is another easy pose to try during your next shoot! I always catch myself preaching this, but acting natural and movement always gives me the best results! You could also look at it as not looking directly at the camera for every picture. I’m not sure if this is me being critical on my “posed” photos, but I tend to always love the “off-guard” photos more.
In the End…
I loved the natural scents within these products and so did my hair. The pricing is also very affordable, which is great because you’re getting quality ingredients and it doesn’t require you to break the bank! If you want, feel free to check them out or let me know what brand of hair products is your go-to! Also let me know if there are any go-to poses of yours. That’s all for this week, thanks for reading!
