Saint Mary’s Glacier – Idaho Springs, CO

This is definitely one of my favorite stops in Colorado. Idaho Springs is about an hour from Denver, which makes it so worth it (if you’re staying near, of course)! I won’t do much talking, but I will show you some pictures I got to take there and a little background info that will hopefully convince you all to add this to your Colorado Bucket-List! I don’t do well with the elevation change (coming from MI), so I had to stop quite a few times on the way up, but my friends did fine! Wear good shoes because it was rocky.

Location: Idaho Springs, CO | End Elevation: 10,848 | Skill Level: Easy-Mod | Dogs: Yes | Bikes: No | 1.5 Miles (Round-Trip)

They even had this super cute coffee stand right outside of the parking lot! I hope you enjoyed and don’t forget to bring lots and lots of agua!

I haven’t had the chance to go to Colorado yet, but it looks so breathtaking! The hike didn’t seem too long, but of course, I suppose it depends on how the hike is to make it feel long or shorter! I hope you had a blast and you got some yummy coffee afterwards as well!

I do remember climbing high up, pretty fast so I think that getting to the glacier makes the hike moderate haha. Elevation is not my friend! The coffee was delish, hope you’re enjoying your summer!
