Easy Naan Bread Pizza

This week I’m showing you one of the easiest and yummiest pizzas you’ll ever attempt!

So, if you follow me on my foodie page @takingbites you may know that I love pizza. I’m constantly trying local pizza and creating my own at home, which is my favorite. If you enjoy pizza with a nice crunch, you’ll love naan bread pizza!

Sidenote: Don’t feel like you have to use naan bread. There are tons of options, I just chose to share this particular version today! 

What you’ll need for this Easy Naan Bread Pizza:

  • Pizza Sauce – I often times will use marinara or any pasta sauces I have in the cabinet
  • Garlic Naan Bread – Any flavor works, I just prefer the garlic over original
  • Oil – I like to use extra virgin olive oil 
  • Italian Seasoning – Oregano works as well, and I also sprinkle in a little salt
  • Minced Garlic – Optional, I like the flavor it gives the sauce
  • Cheese – I used a block of mozzarella and grated it at home
  • Toppings – Some examples are pepperoni, mushroom, onions, peppers, spinach, fruit, jalapeños, etc. This is where you can get as fun and creative as you want!
  • Garnish – Top with fresh basil (optional) and/or parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Spritz your naan bread with water then bake until warm
  • Spread olive oil around naan bread
  • Add your sauce of choice
  • Top with cheese(s) of your choice
  • Add toppings
  • Bake for suggested cooking time and temperature (based on naan bread instructions or until crust is golden brown)
  • Slice and serve!

    That looks awesome. I’m totally jealous because I’m currently doing a low-carb diet which means no pizza for me. 😦

        It’s working so far. I’ve lost about 12 pounds and about 2-3 % body fat over six weeks. I’m gonna keep going until I reach 20 pounds hopefully. Then it’s back to pizza. Haha! Thanks
