I’m still deciding on the exact vibe and location of my dream home, but the vision is starting to come together! Here’s what’s currently on my “must-have” list:

The Exterior

I’m picturing a multi-level home with moody, dark brick, large windows, and a front porch big enough for a few chairs. Out back, the focus is all about hosting: a massive deck with a grill and a large table for dinner parties (with an umbrella, of course). For the yard, I’m envisioning a vegetable and cut flower garden. Plus, a 3-car garage and a “she-shed” for my hobbies.

The Interior

Inside, I’d want an open floor plan and a “great room” built for entertaining. The kitchen is where I’ll really have fun. Right now, I’m loving the idea of forest green cabinets mixed with warm, natural wood. Since I can assume that I’ll still be a wine club member, a dedicated drink fridge and a full wine cellar are a must in this dream home.

To round it out, I’m dreaming of a finished basement with a pool table, a small theater setup, and a proper home gym.

The Stats

Ideally, I’d be looking at a 4+ bedroom, 3.5+ bath dream home. It’s a lot to dream about, but that’s the fun of it!
