When my friend randomly asked me if I wanted to go skiing in Montana, I knew I had to say yes. I had never been skiing before, and the thought of exploring the beautiful mountains out west was too tempting to pass up.
I packed my bags and headed to Montana. I met a friend in Denver, then we flew to Missoula. The snow-capped mountains, streams, and clear blue skies were absolutely breathtaking.
Our days were filled with skiing, hiking, and exploring the charming towns of Montana. We ate hearty meals and drank local brews, feeling the warmth of the locals’ hospitality wherever we went. Most days, we cooked meals at home, which I loved!
Another day, we skied down the most beautiful slopes we had ever seen, feeling the rush of the wind and the snow beneath our feet. I laughed, I fell, and I got back up again, feeling alive and empowered.
On our final day, we drove over to a hidden hot spring resort, surrounded by trees and rain, on this particular day. It was so quiet and peaceful, we felt like we had the entire world to ourselves, though we were surrounded by patrons and citizens of Montana.
As our trip came to an end, I realized that I had experienced something truly special. Montana had left me feeling both fulfilled and exhausted, with memories that I would cherish forever.
If you’re ever considering traveling out west, I highly recommend you look into Montana. It’s a place where you can truly disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature, leaving you feeling renewed and invigorated.
